Job Description

ThreatConnect, Inc. is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join our Marketing & Sales Operations team. The Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing development of our deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the salesforce platform. The administrator will work closely with the Sales and Marketing Teams to support the growing needs and changes of the business. This role is part technical administrator and part customer service. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for administering the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.

Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing & Sales Operations Manager, as the Salesforce Administrator, you will be a key part of the team and its ability to successfully accelerate company growth - even faster than it already is. This is a great opportunity to work with various team members across the organization on a wide variety of projects. The Salesforce Administrator will field all day-to-day requests from the sales team, finance team, and customer success team to support, troubleshoot and resolve all issues/requests. Strong communication and customer service skills will be instrumental in working directly with other internal departments to support sales lifecycle priorities:

Job Duties:

  • Modifies and/or coordinates the administration of Salesforce Platform including all change requests
  • Troubleshoots and reports on all issues within the platform and other integrated platforms; maintains problem/issue lists - identifies and escalates issues and risks that may impede successful project completion
  • Ability to configure objects, page layouts, workflows, profiles, permission sets, reports, and dashboards and maintains Salesforce Platform content, documentation and user guides
  • Ability to process testing in the sandbox environment, determine issues, and escalate as needed
  • Follows project plans, as they are assigned and developed, to completion in a timely and efficient manner, consistent with the Marketing and Sales objectives
  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining forms, templates, online content and related application documents, user reference guides and documentation
  • Demonstrates an ability to build relationships and partnerships across the organization to achieve business goals
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with internal partners, vendors and stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, IT, Legal, and more) to produce innovate solutions and help develop best practices and to resolve issues
  • Extracts and analyzes data, converting it into value-added management information
  • Maintains reports for operation tracking and management consumption


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience as a administrator
  • Bachelor’s Degree; can be substituted for Salesforce certifications or years of experience
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Strong understanding of best practices and functionality
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to critically evaluate information from multiple sources and escalate conflicts as needed.

Desired Qualifications

  • Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
  • Previous experience migrating from Salesforce Classic to Lightning
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirement
